William Lowell Jacques III of Mount Pleasant graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts English .

Jacques was among more than 3,200 students who received degrees from President James P. Clements, who presided over his first graduation ceremony at Clemson and who was inaugurated in three stages at the morning, afternoon and evening ceremonies.
