Shauna Marie Young of North Charleston Uses Spring Break From Clemson University to Help Family in Dominican Republic

Shauna Marie Young of North Charleston served in the Dominican Republic over spring break with the Clemson CONNECTIONS group.

Young is a senior majoring in International Management at Clemson University.

Clemson CONNECTIONS is a minority mentor program housed in the Gantt Center for Student Life.

The group sent 11 undergraduate and three graduate students to Los Parcelos just outside of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. They spent their time building a home for a family in need.
