Samantha Elise Pettigrew of Beaufort graduated Cum Laude from Clemson University May 9, 2014, with a Bachelor of Arts in Language and International Trade.

Pettigrew was among more than 3,000 students who received degrees from President James P. Clements, who presided over his first graduation ceremony at Clemson and who was inaugurated in three stages at the morning, afternoon and evening ceremonies.
