Nicholas Christopher Marais of San Diego graduated from Clemson University May 9, 2014, with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering.

Marais was among more than 3,000 students who received degrees from President James P. Clements, who presided over his first graduation ceremony at Clemson and who was inaugurated in three stages at the morning, afternoon and evening ceremonies.
