Macy Lee Driggers of Aynor Chosen a Clemson University Homecoming Finalist

Macy Lee Driggers of Aynor was chosen as a finalist in Clemson University's annual Miss Homecoming pageant.

Driggers, a junior majoring in food science, was among 10 finalists chosen at the Oct. 3 pageant. Miss Homecoming is to be chosen by the student body in voting before the Oct. 7 homecoming football game.

The contestants were judged on interviews, their Clemson involvement and casual and evening wear.

Clemson's Undergraduate Student Government sponsors the Miss Homecoming Pageant, and both the pageant contestants and their escorts have been sponsored by various organizations across the campus.

Sponsors' donations will help fund The Will to Lead capital campaign, an effort to raise $600 million through private gifts by June 30, 2012. The campaign is raising funds to provide scholarships, fellowships, professorships and enhanced learning and research opportunities to Clemson students and faculty.
