Leland Dunwoodie of Milton honored at Clemson University awards ceremony

Leland Dunwoodie of Milton was honored at the Clemson University Division of Student Affairs awards breakfast and recognition ceremony.

Dunwoodie, who is a Biochemistry major, received the 2018 Almeda R. Jacks Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award.

The award is presented in honor of Clemson's current vice president for Student Affairs. It is given to a junior or senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who upholds Clemson's core values, maintains high scholarly achievement and is involved in university departments, clubs or organizations. Dunwoodie served as president of the undergraduate student senate during the 2017-18 academic year. He also previously worked as a resident assistant in University Housing & Dining.
