Alexandra Carolyn Fehling of Vedra Beach Helps Dominican Community With Clemson University Group

Alexandra Carolyn Fehling of Vedra Beach traveled to the Dominican Republic with 12 other Clemson University students during the winter break to build a home in the Las Charcas community.

The group of fraternity and sorority members provided the funding and labor to construct a safe, affordable, concrete-block home that ensures safety from hurricanes. The students interacted closely with local families and community members to experience Dominican culture while helping those in need.

Fehling is a Sophomore majoring in Marketing.
